In this role, you will be maintaining the warehouse logistics associated with our sales and installation team members, which includes receiving goods, loading and unloading equipment, delivery and collection of parts and materials, and the day-to-day organisation of the warehouse.
About the role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the position is based in Coconut Grove, NT, and is a hands-on role, with responsibilities including but not limited to:
Receiving, unloading, and checking goods transported and shipped from suppliers.Allocation of equipment into store or assigned to projects.Collecting stock and delivering to site works or customers.Packing / dispatching equipment for warranty returns.Updating, maintaining, organising, and recording stock and inventory, including administration and filing of consignment notes, invoices, and dispatch dockets.Maintaining and organising the warehouse and storage facilities to a high standard, including cleaning, organising, and attending to minor repairs and maintenance to company assets, plant, and equipment.Appropriate disposal of packaging & installation material, coordinating with recycling and disposal suppliers.Ensuring AV Projects workshop safety and environmental standards are complied with.Assisting with technical trades from time to time when required.Obtaining further training and certification when necessary.About yourself
To be considered for this role, you must have the following experience, certificates, and attributes:
Previous experience working in a warehouse environment within the AV Industry or Electronics Retail and/or Appliance Industry is advantageous.Must have a current driver's licence.Required to have or be able to obtain a white card (construction card) and ochre card (working with children).Police clearance will be required to access some job sites.Excellent communication & customer service skills.Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.Computer skills and competency with MS Office suite packages are essential.Physically fit and ability to climb platform ladders and use elevated platform machinery, pallet jacks, mobile forklift, and the like.Licensing in forklift use and other logistics and access certification is advantageous but not mandatory.Must take pride in your work.If this sounds like you and you wish to join a dynamic and progressive company while advancing your own career, forward your application to: [emailprotected]
