Manager, Regulatory Reporting
A leading financial services organisation based in Sydney is seeking a Manager to join their Regulatory Reporting team in Finance. This is a permanent role and will involve preparing and reviewing regulatory reports, supporting audits, and improving reporting processes to ensure compliance and accuracy.
About You
You will have trained with one of the Big4 accounting practices having specialised within the financial services, investment banking, superannuation or banking sectors. Or, be making your 2nd move from a Financial Institution. You will have excellent technical understanding of accounting standards and regulatory obligations and be CA/CPA qualified with excellent analytical skills, high attention to detail and effective stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and review regulatory reports for external compliance agencies
• Maintain supporting documentation for annual audit requirements
• Identify and implement system upgrades or automation to enhance reporting processes
• Analyse data to support internal decision-making and reporting accuracy
• Engage with stakeholders to clarify requirements and communicate data insights
• Assist in developing and updating policies to ensure adherence to relevant standards
