**About the Role**
As a Mental Health Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering top-quality evidence-based mental health services to patients.
Your responsibilities will include risk assessments, crisis intervention, case formulation, medication management, and additional support services as needed. You'll receive robust support for crisis management, risk assessment, and risk management planning from our multidisciplinary team and senior mental health professionals.
You will work closely with patients to understand their needs and develop personalized care plans that address their unique challenges. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us provide exceptional care and support to those who need it most.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
* A current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia with AHPRA
* Credentialing with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses (ACMHN), or a minimum qualification of Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing, or relevant international equivalent
* Minimum of 2 years' full-time (or part-time equivalent) Post Graduate experience in mental health, encompassing comprehensive assessments and delivery of evidence-based 'Focussed Psychological Strategies' as per the Medicare Schedule
* A current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification
* Familiarity with relevant State/Territory policies, national standards, and the ADF Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy (preferred)
* Recent engagement in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities, with a minimum of 10 hours directly related to mental health, aligned with AHPRA guidelines
