Postdoctoral Researcher in mRNA Therapeutics
We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join our team at the John Curtin School of Medical Research. As part of our National Therapeutic mRNA Platform, you will be working on innovative research in epitranscriptomic engineering and RNA translation with a focus on applications in mRNA therapeutics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct independent research in RNA biology and epitranscriptomics
* Collaborate with computational biologists, biomedical researchers, and other RNA experts
* Contribute to teaching and service within the school
Requirements:
* PhD (or near completion) in medical research, RNA biology, or a related discipline
* Track record of independent research in RNA biology and epitranscriptomics
* Evidence of research innovation in RNA modification, structural analysis, protein engineering, translational regulation, RNA degradation, and RNA direct sequencing using Nanopore technologies
* Demonstrated ability to publish high-quality research and present findings at national or international conferences
