The company is looking for an experienced High Voltage Operations Manager to oversee the high voltage field operations initiatives including maintenance and testing activities for utility-scale battery storage assets.

This is a business-critical role that works directly with the Corporate Asset Operations, EPC, and Construction teams in cohesion with a 3rd Party Contractor management strategy.
">
The position requires experience supporting technical engineering initiatives for multiple utility-scale greenfield and brownfield renewable energy projects in aspects of facility maintenance, testing, and equipment repair.
">
The ideal candidate will have 4-6+ years experience with HV electrical systems (O&M, testing, field engineering, maintenance services, and/or commissioning) and a strong background in managing 3rd Party Contractors for utility-scale renewable energy sites with high voltage systems.

Key responsibilities include:

* Leading technical support initiatives for start-up, commissioning, testing, and engineering operations.
">
* Managing all associated NERC / ERCOT documentation/compliance issues, switching orders, outage planning, and LOTO procedures requests.
">
* Providing support and emergency response for Balance of Plant operations across the region.
">
* Leading BESS maintenance and compliance inspections.
">
* Providing technical support of all HV equipment such as grid-tied inverters, circuit breakers, SEL relays, switchgears, AC/DC circuits, and high voltage substations.

Responsibilities:

1. Technical Support Initiatives: Lead technical support initiatives for start-up, commissioning, testing, and engineering operations.

2. NERC/Ercot Compliance: Manage all associated NERC / ERCOT documentation/compliance issues, switching orders, outage planning, and LOTO procedures requests.
">
3. Balance of Plant Operations: Provide support and emergency response for Balance of Plant operations across the region.
">
4. BESS Maintenance: Lead BESS maintenance and compliance inspections.
">
5. HV Equipment Support: Provide technical support of all HV equipment such as grid-tied inverters, circuit breakers, SEL relays, switchgears, AC/DC circuits, and high voltage substations.

Qualifications:
">
">
* HV Electrical Systems Experience: 4-6+ years experience with HV electrical systems (O&M, testing, field engineering, maintenance services, and/or commissioning).
">
* Management/Leadership Experience: Supervisor role requires Management / Leadership experience.
">
* 3rd Party Contractor Management: Experience managing 3rd Party Contractors for utility-scale renewable energy sites with high voltage systems.
">
* Warranty Management: Experience leading on-site warranty management initiatives.
">
* Knowledge of HV Substations and Relay Protection: Working knowledge of high-voltage substations, relay protection, Battery storage (BESS), and transmission systems.
">
* Testing Procedures Knowledge: Working knowledge around testing procedures for grid-tied inverters, BESS/Solar equipment, electrical protective relays (SEL), switchgears, transformers, and circuit breakers.
">
* Schematics Interpretation: Ability to read/interpret schematics and electrical diagrams.
">
* SCADA System Knowledge: Working knowledge of electrical SCADA systems.
">
* OSHA Guidelines Knowledge: Working knowledge of OSHA guidelines and LOTO (lock-out-tag-out).
