Overview
Senior Cost & Schedule Analyst based in Mawson Lakes will provide subject matter expertise to Program Managers and Control Account Managers.
Responsibilities
* Manage the establishment and maintenance of fully integrated schedule and cost baselines for the program
* Provide SME guidance to stakeholders in the development of appropriate Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for upcoming Tasking Statements, and manage the development and maintenance of existing Contract WBS and associated Dictionaries
* Manage the day-to-day tasking of Project Controls team members within your project(s)
* Oversee the development and implementation of the Earned Value Management System in conjunction with PCG functional staff to facilitate the successful achievement of project objectives
* Incorporate risk and schedule margin tasks into schedules based on risk registers and undertake Schedule Risk Analysis as required
* Ensure all project documentation including the Work Authorisation Documents (WADs), Control Account Plans and Responsibility Assignment Matrix are updated and maintained in accordance with the CSI Earned Value Management Plan
Qualifications
* Experience in tasking small to medium teams
* Expert level experience in applying principles, concepts, practices and standards of scheduling and EVM principles, in particular, Critical Path Method and Baseline Control preferably within the defence industry
* Extensive project administration experience with knowledge of and exposure to accounting and budgeting principles
* Computer literacy with an ability to prepare, analyse, and interpret reports
* Intermediate to advanced skills and experience in the use of MS Office and other relevant software packages and applications (Open Plan Professional, Cobra, etc.)
* Extensive experience within a customer liaison role
* Excellent communication skills including the ability to prepare and present concise oral and written reports, briefings, updates and other documentation to internal stakeholders
* Some bid proposal development experience will be an added advantage
Special Requirements
