This role is all encompassing where no two days are the same. Overseeing the sales process from outbound, enquiry follow ups to negotiations and ensuring seamless transition through the co-ordination and briefing the operations teams. Reporting to the Group Marketing Manager and Director, this role needs a tenacious and driven sales pro who loves to take on a challenge and achieve goals. Working in a dynamic environment with a growing and driven team of on site sales, this is a role for a professional who is also fun and positive and doesn't take themselves too seriously, but the role very seriously. Your experience will include: 3-5 years in a similar role managing multiple events sales processes in a higher turnover or group setting. Experience in selling events in the corporate sector with wedding and special occasion markets in a higher end setting. Have extremely good communication skills when dealing with employees, stake holders and clients. Experience with putting together proposals and negotiating terms. Good experience with staff briefings, run-sheets and incredible time management skills. Ability to cost and report events under budget constraints. Experience in managing people and are a passionate leader Are able to develop and implement best practices in both service and sales. Dedication to exceeding client expectations. Impeccable grooming and a professional demeanour at all times. Are able to work weekend days as required with ideally a Tuesday to Saturday roster.
