Overview
WGA is an Australian and New Zealand company owned by employees with a team of over 680 people. The role of Project Coordinator is to support the planning, delivery, and coordination of technology initiatives across WGA. Reporting to the Senior IT Project Manager, this role ensures projects are delivered in a structured, organised and well-communicated manner.
Responsibilities
* Support multiple IT projects and business-as-usual activity across infrastructure, platforms, business applications and security uplift initiatives, including scheduling, documentation, stakeholder coordination, reporting and risk tracking.
* Actively drive progress, ensure actions are followed through, deadlines are met, and stakeholders remain aligned.
* Collaborate with IT leaders, business stakeholders, external suppliers and project teams to maintain visibility, consistency and momentum across project delivery.
* Work across a variety of projects simultaneously, with strong organisation and follow-through to grow your career in IT project delivery.
Qualifications
* Relevant work rights - Australian Citizen
* Demonstrated experience in an IT project coordination or project support role
* Demonstrated experience in leading agile ceremonies, including Stand Up, Retros and Workshops
* Strong organisational skills with experience tracking schedules, budgets, developing backlogs, actions, risks and dependencies
* Experience supporting projects in a structured delivery environment (e.g. Agile, waterfall or hybrid)
* Confidence working with stakeholders at varying levels, including IT specialists, business users and external vendors
* A practical understanding of IT concepts such as infrastructure, systems, cloud services or cybersecurity (hands-on technical expertise is not required)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
* A proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate issues and follow through on actions
* Business Analyst background highly desirable
