As an experienced Consultant you will be responsible for increasing the PERSOLKELLY presence with Government. You will be expected to attend Client meetings, build strong relationships with Clients as well as servicing existing orders.

We are growing Nationwide, and our Canberra branch are currently actively seeking an experienced Consultant/Senior Consultant to head up the Government team.

**The role**
The PERSOLKELLY Canberra team enjoys a supportive environment with a General Manager who is ready to invest and grow the team - in this role you will be joining a small team of experienced consultants who work hard and have fun.
This role is pivotal in our Canberra branch and the expectation is that you will focus on identifying key hiring managers within the Government departments that we partner with to cement and build those relationships. As we already have a strong presence in Government and are already receiving orders you will also be managing jobs and billing from the outset.
**What will you be doing?**
- Developing new business opportunities with Government Departments
- Developing strong relationships with hiring managers and HR team through Client visits and networking
- Negotiating job offers
- Meeting agreed KPI activity and revenue targets
**To be successful in this role**:
- Ideally you will be an experienced Recruitment Consultant who has recently worked within the Government space in Canberra
- As a natural networker you will also need to be a confident, determined person who is able to use all the tools provided to target and connect with Clients
- Communication skills are key, and you will have the ability to professionally relate, influence, lead, negotiate and express yourself when communication to all stakeholders
- You will be driven by success with a desire and competitive drive to meet and exceed targets and KPI's
