You will collaborate with a team of dedicated allied health professionals, supporting clients on their journey to return to work and life after physical or psychological injuries.
As a Graduate Physiotherapist, your responsibilities will include:
1. Providing initial rehabilitation assessments and planning to assist clients with physical injuries and psychosocial barriers, facilitating participation in Graduated Return to Work Programs.
2. Managing cases for clients returning to their previous employment or transitioning to new roles.
3. Delivering services within your clinical scope, including:
* Worksite assessments
* Functional Capacity Evaluations
* Ergonomic assessments for home, office, and vehicles
* Injury prevention training tailored to client needs
* Work task analyses and job dictionary preparations
1. Coordinating a holistic treatment approach, liaising with treating practitioners to monitor progress and adjust plans.
2. Collaborating with medical teams to assess and recommend on clients' physical health, wellbeing, and work capacity.
3. Documenting case notes and reports in detail.
4. Supporting veterans in achieving their psychosocial, medical, and vocational goals.
5. Gaining experience working across various insurance schemes and with self-insured employers.
6. Receiving training to deliver the Virtual Reality Empowered Pain program for clients with persistent pain.
