We are a well-established, patient-focused dental clinic located in Mawson, Canberra, seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our practice and support continued growth.
About the Role
As Practice Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth and efficient running of the clinic, including:
* Managing daily operations, workflows, and patient experience
* Leading, supporting, and coordinating clinical and administrative staff
* Rostering, leave management, and staff performance support
* Overseeing billing, accounts, banking, and HICAPS processing
* Ensuring compliance with dental regulations, infection control, and WHS requirements
* Managing stock control, suppliers, and ordering
* Supporting business growth, reporting, and operational improvements
* Acting as the key point of contact between clinicians, staff, and management
About You
The ideal candidate will:
* Have previous experience as a Practice Manager or Senior Dental Administrator
* Have strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
* Be confident in dental software, billing systems, and health fund claiming
* Have a good understanding of Australian dental compliance and infection control standards
* Be proactive, solutions-focused, and professional
* Be able to work independently while leading a team
