Role Description
This is a full‐time, on‐site role for a Mechanical Estimating Manager based in Springfield, QLD. The Mechanical Estimating Manager will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for mechanical construction projects, analysing data, reviewing specifications, managing tender submissions, and providing guidance on project pricing. The individual will collaborate with internal teams including engineering and project management, liaise with clients, and monitor industry trends to ensure competitive and successful project bids.
Qualifications
* Strong mechanical estimating experience and knowledge of construction methodologies and materials
* Ability to analyse project specifications, identify project scope, and calculate costs accurately
* Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
* Strong project management and organisational skills
* Effective communication and negotiation skills to interact with internal teams and clients
* Prior experience in the mining, power generation, or infrastructure industries is advantageous
* Qualification in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred
* Commitment to safety regulations and quality assurance practices
