An opportunity has become available for a Medical Receptionist to join our friendly, supportive and experienced team at Campaspe Family Practice on a Casual basis.
We are a busy practice, located in the heart of Kyneton within the Macedon Ranges, and pride ourselves on offering our patients a range of specialised services close to home.
Daily tasks and responsibilities will include:
* Excellent customer service – you will be the first point of contact for our patients, in person and on the phone
* Maintaining confidentiality while managing patient records
* Processing payments, Medicare, and third-party claims and reconciliations
* Effective management of patient appointment types
* General administration and daily office duties
* Duties as required by Doctors and the Practice Manager
To be successful in this role, you will:
* Highly motivated with a sound background in customer service.
* Proficient computer skills are essential with knowledge of medical software including Best Practice being desirable
* Professional, friendly, confident, and courteous manner
* Flexibility with work hours – the ability to work rotating Saturdays is required
* Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and prioritise
* Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work in a diverse team and independently
* High level attention to detail
* Enthusiasm, willingness, and ability to learn and retain information
