About The Role
This role provides clinical education, training and evaluation of skills and knowledge to promote and support improved nursing care in the Medical Ward. You'll plan, deliver and evaluate clinical education programs to groups and individuals to contribute to the development of our nursing workforce, working collaboratively with nursing staff and managers to identify and prioritise individual and unit learning needs.
Importantly, you will promote a culture of continuous learning and development within our Living Well Together framework, providing clinical leadership, including preceptorship, mentorship and role modelling, to support a collaborative approach to learning and development.
You will monitor and evaluate educational programs through clinical competency assessments within scope of role to monitor nursing education gaps and ensure that clinical learning priorities are appropriately balanced with mandatory education requirements.
You'll join the vibrant, multidisciplinary Bathurst Medical Ward team, which values creative problem solving and professional development.
