The Company A busy, large multinational manufacturer of gardening tools and equipment systems is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead a well established manufacturing facility in Dandenong South. The Role Reporting directly to senior management, you will oversee the end to end operations of the facility driving performance and ensuring operational targets and customer expectations are met. Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to: Leading daily manufacturing, packing and warehousing operations Managing site budgets, operational spend and cost controls Developing production schedules and resource planning to meet demand Driving continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and supply chain operations Ensuring compliance with WHS, quality, environmental and regulatory requirements Managing inventory accuracy, stock control and warehouse performance Supporting procurement activities and supplier performance management Leading change management and implementation of new systems and processes Partnering with internal stakeholders to support demand planning and supply continuity Coaching, mentoring and developing the operations team About YOU! Degree or Diploma qualifications in Engineering, Manufacturing or related discipline Minimum 10 years’ experience in a senior manufacturing leadership role Strong experience across production, supply chain, warehousing and operational management Proven ability to lead teams, drive engagement and build positive workplace culture Experience managing budgets and operational KPIs Sound understanding of ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing processes Strong analytical, planning and problem solving skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Demonstrated experience leading change and continuous improvement initiatives To be successful in this role, you will bring strong leadership capability together with a proven background in manufacturing operations.
