* Clerk Grade 7/8 - $113,574 to $125,720 +super, leave loading and flex
* 2 x temporary up to 3 years, full-time (35 hours per week) roles + talent pool opportunities
* Location: Parramatta with options to work from our office locations in the greater Sydney area (50% office-based)

About Homes NSW
Homes NSW brings together housing and homelessness services to deliver more social and affordable housing, end the cycle of homelessness, and support over 262,000 tenants across NSW. We put people at the centre of everything we do — our clients, our communities and our people.
Your role
As a Community Engagement Advisor, you'll play an integral role in the Public Affairs and Engagement team, supporting the planning and delivery of engagement and communications activities for major housing projects.
You'll work closely with integrated project teams on State Significant Developments and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, helping manage sensitive issues, respond to community enquiries, and deliver clear, accessible communications.
This is a hands‐on role where your judgement, communication skills and ability to build relationships will directly support the planning and delivery of new social and affordable housing across NSW.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide advice and support to the Senior Community Engagement Officer
* Develop high-quality communications and engagement materials
* Proactively identify community and stakeholder related issues and risks, and help implement effective mitigation strategies
* Undertake research to understand community sentiment and local context
* Monitor and map the stakeholder environments
* Build and maintain productive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
Preferred Experience
We're looking for candidates with experience supporting major infrastructure project delivery - particularly in public participation and community/stakeholder engagement. Experience with State Significant Developments, understanding of the NSW planning frameworks and IAP2/ Engagement Institute certification will be highly regarded.
Essential requirements
* A current and valid NSW Drivers Licence.
* The role may involve travel both locally and regionally, including overnight travel, as required by the business and/or directed
* Occasional after hours/weekend work required
