Position Overview: We're looking for a motivated and resilient Junior Business Development Manager / Telesales Executive to support our New Zealand business development team. This is an entry-level role with significant room for growth and leadership.
You'll be on the front lines - identifying new opportunities, engaging prospective clients, and booking high-quality appointments for our senior sales managers. You'll play a key role in building initial relationships and shaping our future pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct outbound calls to potential clients (importers/exporters, SMEs, emerging corporates)
* Book and manage appointments for the senior sales team
* Introduce and explain our FX solutions with clarity and confidence
* Maintain accurate CRM records and manage sales data efficiently
* Support business development initiatives and contribute to team success
What we're looking for:
* 1–3 years of telesales, inside sales, or customer-facing experience preferred
* A strong communicator with a confident, professional phone manner
* Grit, drive, and a resilient mindset - you bounce back from setbacks
* A proactive, self-starter who thrives on hitting targets and contributing to a winning team
* Language skills (Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean) highly valued
* FX or financial industry experience is a bonus - but not essential (training provided)
