Role Description
We are seeking a radical social workers who are passionate about social justice and advocacy, dedicated and empathetic interestedin a full-time, on-site position located in Hobart, TAS. The role involves conducting client assessments, creating care plans, providing one-on-one support for individuals with psychosocial challenges, and connecting clients with community resources. Additional responsibilities include advocating for clients' needs, maintaining accurate case records, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for the individuals served.
Qualifications
* Strong skills in counseling, case management, and psychosocial assessment
* Experience in client advocacy, resource coordination, and support planning
* Ability to work collaboratively with community networks and multidisciplinary teams
* Effective written and verbal communication skills, including report writing
* Capacity to work empathetically with clients facing complex challenges
* Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
* Registration with or eligibility for membership in a recognized professional body (e.g., AASW)
* Knowledge of NDIS services and local community resources is a plus
