 
        
        About the opportunity
As Australia's newest uranium producer, we're growing and looking for a Process Plant Operator to join our team at the Honeymoon mine site in South Australia.
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you'll work with a small team to operate and monitor the mine's wellfields and process plant, ensuring that it operates safely and efficiently.
We're looking for a team member who enjoys outdoor, demanding physical work, is highly adaptable to changing work routines and has a strong work ethic.
Working on a small site, you'll need excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
The role will be FIFO from the Adelaide charter terminal direct to site on an 8:6 rotating roster. We will also consider DIDO from Broken Hill.
In terms of specific responsibilities, you will:
 * Ensure plant housekeeping and cleanliness is maintained to required standards.
 * Ensure reagents are unloaded safely.
 * Monitor process equipment and parameters to detect and resolve issues.
 * Perform routine plant checks/inspections and report issues to maintenance staff.
 * Record and report a range of process data.
 * Collect and log wellfield and plant samples, including final product samples.
 * Follow standard operating procedures, including start-up/shut-down procedures, to ensure safe and efficient plant operation.
 * Collaborate with other departments to optimize plant performance.
About You
What you'll need:
 * A valid Australian driver's license, with the ability to drive a manual vehicle.
 * A forklift license, telehandler and Elevated Work Platform(EWP) tickets.
 * Experience in process plant operations in mining or related industry.
 * An understanding of pumps, valves and process flows.
 * A familiarity with process control systems and instrumentation.
 * Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse and troubleshoot complex plant issues.
 * The willingness to work in a remote location, in extreme temperatures.
 * A strong focus on and commitment to, working safely.
 * A Certificate III in Process Plant Operations or similar.
While not essential, the following tickets/licenses will be highly regarded:
 * Front end loader
 * Dogman
 * Bridge & Gantry crane
 * Bobcat, backhoe or excavator
