Apprentice: The role (what it's really about)
Complete Glass is a small, family-owned glazing business based in the Hills District, servicing Sydney and surrounds. We're hands-on, we back our people, and we're looking for a 1st or 2nd year apprentice to join the team.
What you'll be doing:
* Assisting experienced glaziers and in-house crane operators with installs, repairs and maintenance across windows, doors, mirrors and shopfronts
* Learning to measure, cut and fit glass to precise specs
* Building skills in the safe use of tools and equipment
* Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
* Following safety procedures and regulations
* Attending the TAFE course in Glass and Glazing
What you'll need
* Completed Year 10 minimum
* Driver's licence (desirable - you must be able to drive manual)
* White Card, WWCC, National Police Check/Certificate
* Great communication + strong desire to keep learning
The practical details
* Hourly rate dependent on skill level / award etc
* Immediate start, overtime available
