Senior Financial Leader - Reporting Expert
This is a dynamic role that requires a high level of expertise in financial and regulatory reporting.
We are seeking a talented individual to join our accounting team, responsible for delivering high-quality reporting to stakeholders.
* Reporting to the Head of External Reporting, this Senior Manager will oversee a wide range of financial and regulatory activities across multiple entities.
* You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reporting, supporting external/board reporting requirements and meeting strict internal and external deadlines.
* You will work closely with the Pacific controllership team to achieve business objectives, delivering high-quality reports and ensuring compliance with IFRS/AASB standards.
Key responsibilities include:
* Deliver comprehensive financial reports for various businesses and legal entities, leveraging your expertise in Oracle and MS Excel.
* Collaborate with finance teams to ensure seamless reporting processes, driving efficiency and cost-effectiveness throughout the organization.
* Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing exceptional service and support to meet their reporting needs.
* Support the financial statement and regulatory audit process, working closely with external auditors to ensure timely clearance and filing of Annual Reports and Financial Statements.
* Continuously improve reporting processes and controls, identifying areas for optimization and implementing best practices to enhance overall performance.
* Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends in financial reporting, applying your knowledge to drive strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
* Accounting qualifications (ACA/CPA) or equivalent.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting, preferably in a Big4 or professional services background.
* Proven expertise in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and accounting principles (IFRS/USGAAP).
* Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
