Job Opportunity: Tube Fitter
We are currently looking for skilled and experienced Tube Fitters to join our team.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing tubing systems. This will involve reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications, as well as working collaboratively with other tradespeople to ensure a high-quality finish.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and install tubing installations in accordance with engineering standards and safety codes.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and report progress to supervisors.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople to integrate tubing with other mechanical systems.
* Ensure all joints and connections are secure and meet engineering standards.
* Perform hydrostatic, pneumatic, and leak testing on completed systems.
* Verify material specifications and ensure all fittings and tubing are free from damage and contamination.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Trade certification or vocational training in pipefitting, tube fitting, or related mechanical discipline preferred.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial or construction tube fitting (oil & gas, petrochemical, or manufacturing environment).
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting piping drawings and isometrics.
* Familiarity with Swagelok, Parker, or equivalent compression fitting systems.
* Knowledge of safe work practices, pressure testing, and quality inspection procedures.
* Ability to lift up to 25 kg and work in confined spaces or at heights.
