**The opportunity**:
As the Admin Assistant, Medical Typing Service, you will work in partnership with the full-time Admin Assistant, Medical Typing Service and the medical typists, to ensure that clinical letters are released accurately and in a timely manner. Based in our South Brisbane corporate office this is a permanent part-time role working 28 hours per week.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Sorting, checking and distribution of clinical letters
- Use of different clinical information systems
- Liaison with Icon staff and external clinics to ascertain receiver details
**Competencies - Skills, Knowledge, and Experience**:
- Ability to learn detailed processes and use initiative to solve problems
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Proficient using computer hardware and windows-based software
- Previous clerical/administration experience
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to plan, coordinate and organise busy workloads
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
