Joining the team as a Nurse Unit Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day clinical and operational management of our Day Oncology Unit at Albury Wodonga Private Hospital.
This role will see you:
* Be accountable for the efficient and effective management of all human and material resources
* Be a positive mentor and provide clinical leadership and support to your team
* Working with and supporting other managers within the wider hospital community in achieving excellence in patient outcomes
* Assist in shaping organisational strategy, improve procedural service provision and achieve departmental and Hospital strategic objectives.
You will be joining a multi-disciplinary team, dedicated to ensuring our patients receive holistic individualised care.
Your Skills And Experience

You will also demonstrate:
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
* Minimum 5 years postgraduate experience in acute care environment
* Demonstrated extensive clinical skills and experience within Oncology nursing
* Post graduate qualifications in Oncology nursing
* Recent management experience in Oncology setting
* Effective management of rostering processes and allocation of duties of both clinical and non-clinical staff
* Commitment to improvement and excellence in the delivery of outcomes
* WHS responsibility and leadership in risk minimisation
* Demonstrated ability to effectively manage resources and experience in implementing sustainable change
