The Opportunity:
We're looking for a Leading hand who wants to test his ability to work in with an experienced site manager and run a refurbishment project for leading commercial builder. The role will suit someone who is looking to transition from a leading hand to a junior foreman role and grow their career.
What we Offer
$40 - 47.50 per hour + super + travel
Daily Travel Allowance $21.94
Time and a half and double-time rates paid for overtime
Consistent and ongoing work!
Meal allowance included (over 9.5 hours per shift)
Comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures
Job Role
Starting with defit of a rebel sports then straight into fit out
Supervising trades and ensuring safety on site.
You will assist our site manager to start at around 12pm to 8pm, with potential overtime.
Some small labouring aspects will be assisting with delivery's and unloads, more around the coordination and moving stuff about with a pump truck, liaising with site manager.
Keeping OHS system up to date, and ensuring that site is safe and people are inducted on site.
Successful Applicants Will Need
Construction induction card (White card)
A proven background in commercial construction projects
Team leadership and management skills
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Commitment to safety and a willingness to learn
The ability to follow systems, processes and guidelines
First Aid Licence
Understanding OHS systems such as 1breadcrumb
