THIS OPPORTUNITY

Join Ipsos' Innovation Service Line as a Senior Research Manager where you'll empower brands to drive innovation success by supporting the Director in project execution and client account management.

As a Senior Research Manager, you will support the end-to-end execution of projects and assist in managing key client accounts to support the growth of the business. The Senior Research Manager may also manage an assigned portfolio within Innovation. Key accountabilities include:

Cultivate strong client relationships through understanding their needs and business priorities to secure ongoing engagements.
Demonstrate empathy and effective problem-solving, contributing to client retention and exploring new opportunities with existing clients.
Actively participate in budget planning, ensuring project profitability and coordinating with senior leaders for strategic alignment and new ventures.
Understand client strategies and needs to develop standard proposals, collaborate on complex pitches with seniors, and partner across service lines.
Manage project responsibilities including clear client communication, independent project setup, and mentoring teams in timeline management and problem-solving.
Drive analysis by managing standard report production aligned with client questions, coaching effective insight generation, overseeing chart quality, and crafting impactful recommendations.
Present insights independently to client senior management.
Leverage and guide team use of Ipsos AI tools across all role aspects, enhancing innovative offerings.

YOUR PROFILE

To be successful in this role we are looking for someone who holds an undergraduate degree or higher with preferably over 6 years of research experience, including at least 4 years on the supplier side in market research, preferably managing concept, product, and packaging tests. You will be someone who:

Possess keen attention to detail and are well-versed in statistical and research techniques.
Demonstrates strong numerical and logical skills, with the capability to understand data.
Exhibit excellent organizational abilities.
Can handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and effectively prioritize workload.
Has strong capability to liaise with clients, research teams, and internal and external suppliers.
Shows initiative, motivation, and strong team collaboration skills.
Has a thorough understanding of project dependencies and their impact on overall delivery.
Is proficient in both oral and written communication with advanced Excel skills for working with complex spreadsheets.
Is skilled in PowerPoint for effective data visualization.
Prior experience with, or ability to quickly learn, SPSS / Q programming language.
