Revenue Accountant | Hanes Australasia | Pyrmont
An opportunity exists for a proactive accountant to manage all activities of the P&L and balance sheet for the Hanes Australasia group. Supporting the revenue accounting team, the primary responsibilities include timely completion of month-end journals, balance sheet reconciliations, P&L and balance sheet analysis, supporting forecasting and budgeting, liaising with external audit, and ad hoc financial analysis as required.
What skills do I have?
* An accounting degree, ideally CA or CPA qualified
* Experience in a high-volume finance role, ideally retail, but any high transactional role; ability to work at pace
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills; proactive in digging into details
* Loads of initiative with a proactive attitude and a continuous improvement mindset
* Ability to present financial information clearly and considerately for business leaders
