Housekeeping Role Overview:
Oaks Sunshine Coast Oasis Resort is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Professional to join our housekeeping department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness in guest rooms, including making beds with precision, vacuuming floors, and cleaning bathrooms.
To excel in this role, you will need to work efficiently within allocated timeframes, utilizing specialized cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively. All necessary training and tools will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace
* Thoroughly clean guest rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas
* Vacuum floors and dust surfaces
* Restock linen and amenities as required
* Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals
* Adhere to safety protocols and environmental standards
Requirements:
* Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to work independently
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to lift and move heavy objects (with assistance if required)
* Familiarity with cleaning equipment and products
* Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
