An exciting opportunity exists for a fixed term full time Coordinator Design and Planning to join our Infrastructure Services Directorate based in Moranbah. Located approximately 200km inland from Mackay, Moranbah is a small mining community that has a strong community focus, and prides itself in its rich history and various recreational activities. Reporting to the Manager Engineering Services, the Coordinator Design and Planning position provides high level engineering expertise in development assessments, operational works, coordination of Infrastructure Services design programs and other engineering matters as directed by the Manager. These matters may include providing specialist engineering advice to clients, reviewing and auditing development works for compliance, providing development and training to the Graduate Engineer, and much more
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
* Demonstrated minimum five (5) years' postgraduate engineering experience
* RPEQ Certification or willingness to obtain (desirable)
* The ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams
* C Class Open Australian Drivers Licence
