KAEFER Integrated Services are currently looking for a proactive hands on Scaffold Supervisor to lead our scaffolding team, drive safe work practices, and ensure seamless coordination across all site activities. This is a full time, maximum term contract role at our Goonyella site on a 4/3, Monday-Thursday roster.
This is a local position only. Candidates local to the Bowen Basin will be considered, no FIFO applications.
What you'll be doing
* Supervise a team of scaffolders and ensure safe work practices are followed
* Execute and coordinate the delivery, installation, modification and dismantling of scaffolding structures
* Monitor scaffolding equipment and materials, and order supplies as needed
* Conduct site inspections and identify any safety or compliance issues
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
* Maintain detailed records and documentation related to scaffolding activities
* Provide training and guidance to less experienced scaffolders
What we're looking for
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a Scaffold Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry
* Strong knowledge of scaffolding design, construction and safety regulations
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints
* Experience leading and motivating a team of scaffolders
* HRWL with SA (Advanced Scaffold) class
* Coal board medical (or willing to obtain)
* Standard 11 (or willing to obtain)
* S123 & G2 Supervisor Training
