About us:
Gladstone Hospital offers a range of general and specialist inpatient and outpatient services for a population of approx. 65,000 people within the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service. This 76-bed facility offers inpatient and outpatient services including emergency, general medicine and surgery, basic orthopaedic, clinical investigations, obstetrics, maternity, gynaecology, high dependency and coronary care, day oncology, palliative care, hospital in the home, medical imaging, pathology and paediatrics. The hospital has a busy specialist outpatient clinic providing an extensive range of ambulatory services.
About the role:
The Flow Commanderis a Clinical Nurse responsible for coordinating patient movements across the Gladstone Hospital campus. Working under the direction of the Duty Nurse Manager (DNM), this role collaborates closely with teams in the Emergency Department, inpatient wards, perioperative and community services, as well as external partners. The aim is to ensure patients receive the right care, at the right time, by the right team, and in the right place.
About you:
* Registration as a Registered Nurse, with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practising certificate.
* Although not mandatory, experience in emergency department nursing and general ward nursing is preferred.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $131,900 p.a. is comprised of:
* An hourly rate between $ $58.30 p.h.
* 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
