Deliver high-quality clinical care and advice where it's needed.
Offer services to a range of departments, including the pre-assessment clinic, outpatient department, ward and theatres.
Participate in ward rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Educate patients on the proper use of prescribed medications.
Conduct medication reconciliation and drug utilization reviews.
Document clinical interventions and outcomes.
Provide drug information and training to healthcare staff and patients.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, national regulations, and accreditation standards.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and medication safety programs.
Report adverse drug reactions and medication errors.
Plan, monitor and quality assure the application of technology for the provision of chemotherapy treatment.
Assess the health and well-being of patients whose needs may be complex and changing within the context of their medicines.
Discuss, agree and explain responsibilities for assessment of patients with the clinical team, with specific reference to the patient\'s pharmaceutical needs and oncology medication.
Plan, deliver and evaluate pharmaceutical care to meet patient\'s health and wellbeing needs.

We are located in Woodingdean, on the east side of Brighton with easy access by rail and road, including free parking.Job responsibilitiesAs a bank Oncology Pharmacist at our Brighton Hospital, you\'ll be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and you\'ll have proven post-qualification experience.
It\'s also significant that you have excellent communication and people skills, as you\'ll be working closely with our patients and a variety of clinical staff.
