We're looking for an experienced Bar Supervisor who is enthusiastic about the hospitality industry, who loves coming up with new ideas and takes initiative to execute, and who is an exceptional customer service legend with an abundance of personality and flair.
We are open 7 days per week, with a fast-paced environment, providing friendly, welcoming and personal service, to cater to a diverse range of patrons.
Marina Sunset Bar is locally owned and operated. We are not part of a large corporate group.
This is a hands on role that requires you to "lead from the front".
The role will be minimum 20hrs a week with predominantly weekend work.
As a Bar Supervisor you will
Assist the Venue Manager in leading front of house, venue operations, beverage development, accountable for troubleshooting and actioning change
Have incredible knowledge of cocktails, wine and beverages
Have exceptional communication and time management
Work with the senior management team to ensure a seamless all-round restaurant operation
Previous Bar Management experience is desirable but not essential
About You
At least 2 years prior experience working in a busy bar environment.
Genuine love of customer service and interreacting with people.
Ability to stay calm under pressure and thrive working in a fast-paced environment.
Team player.
A "can do" attitude.
