Cycling Without Age Australia (Perth) – Woodbridge WA
Are you looking for a rewarding way to give back to your community? Join our team of volunteers and help provide free, accessible e‐bike trishaw rides for elderly individuals and those with disabilities. It's a fun, meaningful way to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
What You'll Do
Pilot Volunteers
If you're comfortable riding a bicycle and have a friendly, welcoming attitude, you'll be the heart of our service. As a trishaw pilot, you'll provide enjoyable rides for our passengers, ensuring a smooth and safe experience. All training is provided, so no prior experience is necessary—just a love for helping others and a willingness to follow our simple guidelines and safety procedures.
Non-Rider Volunteers (Ride Coordinators)
Not into riding? No problem! You can still be a vital part of the team. Ride Coordinators assist with a variety of important tasks, including:
* Helping passengers on and off the trishaws
* Assisting with loading and unloading
* Ensuring the trishaws are cleaned to COVID‐safe standards
* Greeting passengers and answering questions
* Managing ride bookings and completing the Ride Register
You'll be the friendly face that ensures everything runs smoothly and our passengers feel safe and cared for.
Who Can Volunteer?
We welcome volunteers from all walks of life! Whether you're a student (18+), a professional, or a retiree, there's a place for you. Our volunteers include everyone from directors to senior citizens, all united by a shared desire to make a difference.
Flexible Hours & Locations
We offer flexible volunteering hours at multiple locations around Perth. You can select the days and times that best fit your schedule.
Training Provided
Don't worry if you've never ridden an e‐bike or worked with elderly passengers before—we provide full training to make sure you feel confident and prepared.
