Main Responsibilities:
* Direct patient care, including education, wound management, and medication administration.
* Foster open communication with doctors, patient services, and allied health professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records regarding patients' medical history and progress.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
* Minimum 2 years post-graduate experience (preferred).
* Background in oncology nursing, although not essential, as we provide comprehensive training.
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills and empathy for patients and their carers.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, commitment to best practice principles, and quality improvement.
* Experience in wound care management.
