About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Communications Professional to join our dynamic team. As Communications Manager, you will play a key role in designing and implementing our corporate communications strategy, ensuring our strong reputation in the aged care sector is maintained and strengthened.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Developing and delivering an organisational communication strategy encompassing internal and external audiences.
* Proactively identifying and developing new media opportunities to promote our services and managing inbound media enquiries.
* Providing strategic public relations advice and support to internal and external stakeholders in relation to issues and crisis management.
* Designing and delivering engaging internal communications plans that provide clarity to the organisation about strategic initiatives and excite them about the future.
* Overseeing the implementation of our social dividend program and feature stories of activities.
* BUILDING STRONG RELATIONSHIPS with key leaders to advise them on the most effective way to communicate about their key priorities and provide copywriting and content development for assets as required.

What You Will Bring:
* A background in communications, public relations or other relevant discipline, with at least 5 years of industry experience.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong media management and PR skills across mainstream and social media channels.
* Experience working with sensitive and complex issues.
* Highly effective interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
* Calmness under pressure and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, issues-rich environment.
* The ability to flex between providing strategic communications counsel and tactical implementation.
