The Position
We are currently looking for an experienced Territory Manager to fill a full-time position based in Southeast Queensland to represent our company. This position has a high degree of autonomy and will report to the General Manager.
You will be working closely with the General Manager and other members of the sales team to grow the business with both existing and new customers supported internally by local Engineering and Logistics resources as well as secondary support from a Global team.
This role has a strong focus on Business development across a number of sectors, including Agriculture, Construction and Automotive, from large OEMs to specialist automotive control system integrators. The product range is large and varied with significant resources dedicated to R&D and new product development annually.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a Technical Sales / Territory Management position in Australia
* Technical qualification – Electrical, Mechanical or Automotive Electrical preferred
* Proven track record of sales growth and business development in a given territory or state in Australia
* Passionate and driven self-starter who is motivated to deliver tangible results
* Ability to plan activity, meet deadlines and be well organised
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are essential
* Availability to travel as required, predominately interstate in the allocated territory and to New Zealand
* Unrestricted current Australian Driver's Licence
* Permanent Residency in Australia with no employment restrictions
