The Opportunity
Located at our V&V Walsh facility in Bunbury, which processes both beef and lamb products, this full-time Rendering Operator position offers a hands-on and dynamic work environment.
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy physical, practical work and are looking to develop their skills with the opportunity to become a qualified renderer.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Monitor and listen to machinery during operation
Operate and maintain cookers, ensuring temperatures are correct
Operate key rendering equipment including:
Cooker and Press
Hammer Mill
Shaker Screen
Grease Centrifuge
Decanter and Polisher
Ensure production runs smoothly and efficiently
Adhere to safety, hygiene, and quality standards at all times
Key Skills & Requirements
Forklift Ticket (essential)
Boiler Ticket (desirable – ability to turn off steam systems)
Physically fit and energetic
Comfortable with physical and manual work
Ability to work independently and in a team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
