About the Institute of Health and Wellbeing
The Institute operates across Mt Helen, Berwick and Gippsland and comprises approximately 150 academic staff. It offers a broad suite of undergraduate and postgraduate programs including paramedicine, nursing, midwifery, psychology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, public health and exercise science, supported by strong industry partnerships and applied research activity.

About the Role
Federation University is seeking a Senior Lecturer / Associate Professor, Paramedicine (Level C or D) on a continuing, part-time basis at Mt Helen.
You will join a nationally recognised boutique postgraduate Paramedicine program, enrolling 45–50 high-calibre students, with strong institutional support and a clear opportunity to contribute to future program growth and development.
Key responsibilities include:
* Teaching and coordination of undergraduate and postgraduate Paramedicine units
* Supervision of honours and higher degree by research students
* Building an active research profile
* Contributing to governance and administration
* At Level D, providing broader academic leadership, accreditation and student success strategy oversight
About You
* You will hold a doctoral qualification, current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Paramedic, and have a minimum of three years' experience as a practising paramedic with a state-based ambulance service. You will demonstrate excellence in teaching, a developing (Level C) or established (Level D) research profile, strong communication skills, and a commitment to inclusive, student-centred education.
