Our client is a leading commercial training organisation, they provide safety skills and incident response training to high-risk industries. This is a full time People and Culture Consultant role based in Jandakot requiring a high level of communication and teamwork to contribute to the company’s success. The People and Culture Consultant advises and supports the business nationally on all HR activities to align our culture, governance, leadership, employee performance, development and workforce capability.
**_ What you’ll be doing:_**
- Actively engage in continuous improvement processes
- Record and maintain staff performance management documents
- Verify or assist in verification of qualifications presented by new employees
- Collect employee details relating to their employment and forward to Payroll Officer
- Coordinate employee injury management, workers compensation and return to work programs
**_ What you’ll need:_**
- Minimum Cert IV Human Resources (completed or working towards)
- Sound knowledge of employee relations matters, such as Awards, workers compensation, etc
- Ability to understand importance of and maintain confidentiality
- Knowledge and expertise between organization’s goals and HR activities
- Advise, lead and support employees in working towards company values, culture and behaviours
