With further exposure to the broader NGM Group Board and Committees, you will play an important role in the governance of our Group.

Your key responsibilities will include (among other things) …
* Provide practical governance and compliance advice to senior stakeholders
* Coordinate Board and Committee meetings, including agendas, papers, and logistics
* Draft accurate minutes, resolutions, and maintain action registers
* Manage statutory registers and corporate records across the group
* Prepare and arrange for lodgement ASIC and ACNC filings in line with statutory timeframes
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the company secretarial and governance function
* Support highly effective Boards and Committees, building relationships and trust with Directors and Executives
What are we looking for?
* 3+ years' corporate legal experience — ideally with exposure to Boards or Executive Committees
* Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders
* Hands-on, proactive, detail-oriented, and someone who enjoys tackling challenges head-on
* Previous company secretarial experience is not required, but highly regarded; Bonus points if you've ever served on a board or committee yourself
* Strong understanding of the Corporations Act, ASIC requirements, and ACNC rules
* Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage competing deadlines
* Possess strong time and workflow management skills, ensuring critical governance functions are delivered efficiently.
* Admitted as a legal practitioner and eligible to hold a NSW legal practising certificate as a corporate legal practitioner.
* Qualifications in a relevant field such as Law, Corporate Governance, Business, or Management (desirable).
* Experience in the financial services sector, community owned or not-for-profit(desirable).
