The Role
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our IT team based in Perth. Reporting to the Group IT Manager, you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end delivery of technology and business system projects across the Vertech Group of companies. This is a hybrid PM/BA role covering project planning, stakeholder coordination, requirements scoping and user acceptance testing across a portfolio of initiatives. Business analysis functions will be heavily supported by AI agents and tools. Vertech operates across multiple business entities and geographic locations with a diverse mix of infrastructure, business application and digital transformation projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
Own and manage project plans, timelines, budgets and deliverables for IT projects across the group.
Drive projects through to completion by actively managing dependencies, risks and blockers.
Coordinate with stakeholders across departments and business entities to keep projects on track.
Facilitate project governance including steering committees, status reporting and escalation processes.
Manage external vendors and implementation partners to ensure deliverables are met on time and within scope.
Lead requirements gathering with business stakeholders to define project scope, objectives and success criteria.
Conduct gap analysis, process mapping and current-state assessments to inform solution design.
Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) cycles and track defects through to resolution.
Leverage modern productivity tools and automation to accelerate documentation, data analysis and requirements synthesis.
Provide structured reporting on progress, risks and blockers to senior leadership.
Other duties as required.

Required Qualifications
PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or CBAP certification is highly desirable.
ITIL 4 Foundation certification is desirable.
Skills and Experience
5+ years of experience in IT project management, business analysis or a similar project delivery role.
Demonstrated experience delivering projects in fast-paced, multi-entity or multi-site environments.
Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall and hybrid project management methodologies.
Experience with requirements gathering, scoping and writing functional specifications.
Hands‐on experience using AI agents and tools (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT/Copilot) to support project delivery, documentation, analysis or testing workflows.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage at all levels.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Monday.com, Microsoft Project or similar tools.
Experience managing ERP, CRM, HRIS or infrastructure projects is highly regarded.
Driver's Licence.
