Due to this growth, they are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and develop their sales function.
The Opportunity This is a Queensland-based role with national reach, offering the chance to step into a key leadership position within a respected organisation. Initially hands-on, the role will evolve to include the management of two Sales Consultants, providing a clear pathway to building and shaping a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and drive sales performance across Queensland, with national oversight as required
* Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with business growth objectives
* Manage key client relationships across builders, developers, and industry partners
* Provide mentoring, coaching, and leadership to future Sales Consultants
* Work closely with senior leadership to forecast sales, identify opportunities, and improve processes
* Represent the business professionally in the market, maintaining its strong reputation
About You
* Proven experience in a Sales Manager or senior sales leadership role
* Background in steel, construction materials, building products, or related industries highly regarded
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance hands-on sales and leadership
* Confident communicator with a relationship-driven approach
* Motivated by building teams, improving performance, and delivering long-term results
* Comfortable working in a family-owned business environment with strong values
