Position Overview
A permanent full‐time role starting Term 3, 2026 at Woodlupine Primary School (PS), an independent public school located in Forrestfield, catering to Kindergarten‐Year 6.
Role
Lead the Education Assistant workforce, mentor and coach staff, and model best practice. Work closely with the Corporate Services Manager, Program Coordinators and Administration team to support timetabling, relief staff, professional development and operational processes. Contribute to the design and implementation of documented plans and provide solutions to support teachers and Education Assistants, promoting positive student behaviour and improved educational outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, coach and model best practice for Education Assistants.
* Collaborate with the Manager Corporate Services, Program Coordinators and Administration team.
* Support timetabling processes and organise relief staff.
* Coordinate professional development opportunities.
* Provide operational support across the school.
* Design and implement documented plans to promote positive behaviour and educational outcomes.
* Exercise discretion in problem‐solving, decision‐making and selecting appropriate methods to achieve outcomes.
Qualifications
* Highly motivated, experienced Leadership in education.
* Professional, organised and able to communicate effectively with staff, the school community and external stakeholders.
* Collaborative skill in building and maintaining effective team‐based relationships.
Eligibility
* Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
* Obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start.
* Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
