Fostering a culture of excellence and success, this company is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable officer for a 2 month contract engagement to join a thriving finance team. The Role This position will focus primarily on the administrative side of accounts receivable, supporting the finance team with high-volume processing and customer account management. On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities will include: Processing debtor receipts and daily cash allocations Managing credit applications and onboarding new customer accounts Issuing credit notes and processing adjustments Reconciling customer accounts and resolving discrepancies Responding to customer account enquiries Supporting debt collection activities where required Assisting with banking and transactional processing Maintaining accurate records and ensuring data integrity This role is heavily system and processing focused, with the majority of time spent working across financial systems rather than on the phone. About You To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Accounts Receivable professional who is confident working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. You will bring: Proven experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar role Strong understanding of AR processes including allocations, reconciliations and credit management Experience processing credit applications and issuing credit notes Solid ERP system experience and intermediate Excel skills High attention to detail and accuracy You will also demonstrate: The ability to hit the ground running with minimal training Strong time management and prioritisation skills Confidence managing competing priorities in a busy environment A proactive and self-sufficient approach to your work Experience within high-volume or operational environments will be highly regarded.
