Earn Extra Income 1 Day Per Week with Electrical How To
Perfect for TAFE Teachers & Experienced Electricians Who Love Teaching
Are you passionate about teaching but don't want more TAFE pressure, admin overload, or a full-time commitment?
Electrical How To is looking for a skilled trainer to join us just 1 day per week (or as much as you can offer) to help create high-quality training content for apprentices and electricians across Australia & NZ.
This role is ideal for:
Current TAFE teachers
Past TAFE teachers
Trainers looking to earn extra income on the side
Anyone wanting flexibility without giving up their current job
Why Join Electrical How To?
We offer what TAFE can't:
1-Day Per Week Flexibility
Pick a day that works around your current job or lifestyle.
Earn Extra Income Without Extra Stress
No marking, no campus politics.
Have a Massive Industry Impact
Instead of teaching 20 in a classroom, your knowledge goes out to thousands of sparkies nationwide.
A Supportive, Fun, Values-Driven Team
We're here to grow the industry, not add red tape.
Long-Term Opportunity
If you enjoy it, you can grow into 2 days, 3 days, or even full-time with a 4-day work week.
What the Role Involves
* Helping us film training content for electrical apprentices & sparkies
* Breaking down wiring rules, standards, and domestic installations into clear, practical explanations
* Working with our team to create structured lessons and demonstrations
* Occasionally answering apprentice questions and contributing ideas for future content
* Bringing your real-world knowledge to help lift the standard of the entire trade
What We're Looking For
* A current or former TAFE Electrical Teacher
* Excellent communication skills, able to explain things simply and clearly
* Passionate about education, safety, and supporting the next generation of sparkies
* Someone reliable who brings good energy and a professional attitude to filming and teaching
