We are seeking an experienced Flutter Android Developer to join our Melbourne-based team.
You will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications using Flutter, primarily targeting the Android platform. This role requires close collaboration with product, design, and backend teams and regular in‐office engagement.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using Flutter for Android platforms
* Translate UI/UX designs and business requirements into high-quality, scalable code
* Ensure application performance, security, and responsiveness
* Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks
* Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers
* Participate in code reviews and improve development standards
* Support application releases and ongoing maintenance
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
* 3–4 years of professional experience in mobile application development
* Strong hands‐on experience with Flutter and Dart
* Solid understanding of Android development concepts and lifecycle
* Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third‐party libraries
* Understanding of state management, app architecture, and performance optimisation
* Proficiency with Git and version control workflows
* Strong problem‐solving and communication skills
Nice to Have
* Prior experience working on Lottery, Gaming, or Regulated Industry applications
* Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications
* Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
Additional Requirements
* Willingness to work from the Melbourne office at least 3 days per week
