We're seeking an experienced and motivated Bookkeeper to oversee the financial and operational side of our busy retail and service business.

About the Role
This diverse position combines bookkeeping, administration, and shop management.
You'll ensure our accounts and operations run smoothly while leading a small team and providing exceptional service to our valued customers.
This is a 25 Hours per week Permanent Part time position; this can lead to more hours with a management role.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage all bookkeeping functions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and BAS preparation
* Oversee day-to-day pool shop operations, including sales, inventory, and supplier management
* Schedule and coordinate service technicians and customer appointments
* Maintain accurate business records, reporting, and compliance documentation
* Provide professional and friendly customer service in-store and over the phone
* Support management with business planning and process improvements

Skills & Experience
* Proven bookkeeping experience using Xero, Reckon, Vend and similar software
* Solid understanding of accounting and payroll procedures
* Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities
* Experience in a pool, retail, or service-related industry is highly regarded
* Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work both independently and in a small team
