Fuse HR is working with a long term international mining client to find a HR Manager to support their business.
Reporting to the General Manager HR the role will have one direct report and support its site based operations as well as the Corporate Functions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES | Human Resources
* Business partner Mining Australia and Perth based leadership teams
* Contribute to regional and global HR initiatives including the development and execution of plans, strategies and activities as a member of the global HR team.
* Collaborate with regional peers, and cross-functional stakeholders
* Support group level HR initiatives
* Deliver HR annual calendar of activities
* Provide leadership to the HR Specialist
* Support integration activities with Corporate entities
* Act as System owner of Time and attendance system
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES | Employee Relations
* Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on performance management, grievances, investigations, dispute resolution and organizational change to support leaders and develop capability.
* Oversee enterprise agreement compliance and act as the key subject matter expert in negotiations and workplace consultations.
* Introduce and implement processes to ensure terms and conditions of employees are legally compliant with relevant Enterprise Agreements, Awards and other Fair Work requirements, such as ensuring annual 'Better off Overall Tests' are undertaken.
* Monitor changes to industrial relations and other workforce legislation and emerging trends to ensure continued compliance and risk management.
* Provide ER relevant support to Safety Coordinators in their injury management processes for ill and injured workers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES | Recruitment Attraction and Branding
* Facilitate recruitment processes for senior level positions for Site and Corporate
* Lead regional branding activities to support attraction and retention priorities
* Support recruitment activities for the Perth office
* Support recruitment /branding systems as well as terms and conditions for agencies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES | Coaching and Development
* Partner with Site Operational Leaders and Perth Head Office Leaders to provide bespoke coaching across areas of the HR lifecycle.
* Business Partner with Leaders to co-create customized work packages to support in addressing workforce capability gaps, including but not limited to executing effective performance management, leading and motivating and/ or attracting and retaining.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES | Remuneration and Benefits
* Develop remuneration strategies to align remuneration and benefits with market practices and promote and develop governance practices.
* Undertake Remuneration Benchmarking (e.g. Mercer, Korn Ferry)
* Support the annual remuneration review, Incentive Scheme, out of cycle, Identify and promote continuous improvement
