IMB is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimise the operational delivery of our Business Banking and Third-Party functions on a 12 month fixed term contract.
About The Role
As Operations Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless execution across internal processes, broker channel enablement, and strategic project delivery. You'll lead a high-performing support team, drive operational efficiency, and contribute to IMB's purpose: providing simple, authentic banking that makes our members and communities better off.
Key Responsibilities
Lead business operations and resolve escalations to ensure service continuity
Drive strategic projects and represent Business Banking in cross-functional initiatives
Oversee broker onboarding, accreditation, and channel enablement
Provide strong people leadership, coaching, and performance management
Ensure compliance with IMB's risk and regulatory frameworks
Champion training, development, and continuous improvement across the team
What You'll Bring
Proven leadership and coaching experience
Deep knowledge of business banking and commercial lending products
Strong financial analysis and attention to detail
Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills
High digital literacy and proficiency in IMB systems and MS Office
Experience in client service within a financial environment
Tertiary qualifications in Banking, Finance, Management, or related fields would be highly desirable
